Healthy Church Initiative
The Healthy Church Initiative (HCI) is a
process designed to transform churches.
Three main components:
1. Continuous Learning
2. Coaching
3. Consultation
Healthy Church Initiative
• Larger Church Initiative and Small Church
Initiative
• Continuous learning: PLD, LLD and SCI
• Coaching: Pastor and church
• Consultation: Weekend consultations
Joining the HCI Process
• Encourage pastor to learn more about HCI
Process (Orientation tonight at 5:15)
• Looking for clergy and churches who are open
to change, encouraged by peer development
and eager to learn
• Encourage pastor to apply for the HCI process
• Help pastor recruit 2 to 3 laity to join LLD group
