Conclusions
1. A cross type amplifier using SBS-PCM has many
advantages such as the alignment insensitiveness,
the stable beam pointing, and the perfect optical
isolation.
2. Pre-pulse technique is expected to suppress the
deformation of the SBS wave

successfully achieved by self density modulation.
