The Girls Network

Mission: to inspire and empower girls by connecting them with a network of

positive female role models.

My journey so far:

• Was I the kind of person they were looking for?

• How would I know what to do?

• Who / how would I be mentoring?

• And now…….?

School Governors

Do you want to develop your strategic business skills whilst giving something back to education? Do you want to make a difference to young people and learn more about your local community?

Do you like a challenge?

Have you ever wanted to get behind the information you hear on the news about school performance?

What does a School Governor Look Like?

And you don't have to have children either…… Every governing body needs a mix of different backgrounds, skills and experience.

Transferable job-related skills are valuable, but not essential - having enthusiasm, commitment and a willingness to ask questions is just as important.
