Know God
John 17.1-3
John 17:1-3
(1) Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to
heaven, and said: "Father, the hour has come. Glorify
Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You,
(2) as You have given Him authority over all flesh,
that He should give eternal life to as many as You
have given Him.
(3) And this is eternal life, that they may know You,
the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have
sent.
Hebrews 8:10-12
{10}"For this is the covenant that I will make with the
house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will
put My laws in their mind and write them on their
hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My
people. {11} "None of them shall teach his neighbor,
and none his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' for
all shall know Me, from the least of them to the
greatest of them. {12} "For I will be merciful to their
unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds
I will remember no more."
The Godhead
Romans 1:20
Romans 1:20
20 For since the creation of the world His
invisible attributes are clearly seen, being
understood by the things that are made, even His
eternal power and Godhead, so that they are
without excuse…
Genesis 1:1
Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the
heavens and the earth.
Genesis 1:26-27
26 Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image,
according to Our likeness; let them have dominion
over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and
over the cattle, over all the earth and over every
creeping thing that creeps on the earth."
27 So God created man in His own image; in the
image of God He created him; male and female He
created them.
