Mornings with
Frankie and Geena
Channel 933 Morning Show M-F 6a-10a
Frankie, Geena, and Sonic are Channel 933’s morning show. The dynamic trio was brought
together to form a fun, and youthful morning show for the Channel 933 listeners of San Diego.
And with morning benchmark features like Frankie’s phone scam, Sonic’s world record Fridays
and Geena’s gossip listeners have many reasons to tune in!
FRANKIE
Frankie’s first radio job was in the sales department of a station in Boston. While in Sales, he
picked up a part-time on-air shift and started honing his broadcasting skills. Eventually Frankie
became a full time on air personality for stations in Portland, Maine and Hartford, Connecticut,
which lead him to his current home on Channel 933. Frankie can also be heard in Phoenix,
Colorado Springs, and on weekends in Los Angeles.
GEENA
In 2006, Geena teamed up with AJ to do morning radio in San Diego and has since made a name
for herself not only as a major morning show figure but also as guest entertainment reporter for
a local TV affiliate, and as a columnist for three different San Diego magazines. In 2009 Geena
was voted one of America’s “50 Hottest Girls in Radio,” and was also named as one of San Diego
Magazine’s 2009 “Movers and Shakers”. Now Geena has joined Frankie V. for Channel 933’s
morning show, “Mornings with Frankie and Geena.”
SONIC
Sean “Sonic” Leckie’s resume also includes bartending at several prominent local
hotspots. Yet, despite all the public face-time from his bar gigs, it’s Sonic’s voice
that people most often recognize. Sonic was a sidekick on AJ’s Playhouse, where
he was known for his song parodies and quick wit. Now he has joined the team as
the producer of “Mornings with Frankie and Geena”. So you can hear him on your
way to work or school in the AM with Frankie and Geena, AND at night Hosting
from 7- midnight.

Frankie was born and raised outside of Boston, Massachusetts in a town called
Framingham. As an athlete in high school and college, Frankie got a taste of
performing but what really fueled his love of entertaining an audience was a
college radio gig while attending Hamilton college in New York.
Frankie’s first radio job was as an Account Executive in the sales department of a
station in Boston. While in Sales, he picked up a part-time on-air shift and started
honing his broadcasting skills. Eventually Frankie became a full-time on-air
personality for stations in Portland, Maine and Hartford, Connecticut, which lead
him to his current home on Channel 933. Frankie can also be heard in Phoenix,
Colorado Springs, and on weekends in Los Angeles.
