May 2011 Meeting I asked you to tell me 3 things Hertz could do better to grow
our business with your company - 4 responses received with the following
suggestions:
1. Work with us on Blackout Dates for clients – Hertz Reps can and will work
with you to customize Blackout Dates to meet the needs of your clients
2. Rate Match – For one-off leisure rate matches, send screen shot to your
Hertz Rep. For contract rate matches, Hertz currently aggressive in
approach to account acquisition
3. Better Agent Incentives – Current program is being reviewed by Hertz
Senior VP Global Sales for improvement
4. Ability to help a client with a “res in progress” without the contract # (Avis can
access by company #) – Suggestion sent to Global IT for review
5. Is President’s Circle still in existence and if so what is criteria for
membership? – Yes – details included later on
6. Need lower one-way rates – one-way pricing now available for BAP (base
+ $.38/mile). For larger accounts, work with Hertz rep to incorporate flat
one-way pricing as needed by client
7. Would like to see rep in our office more – Rep notified about comment
8. Want “Savings Emails” we could directly to clients – Special offers being
sent as PDFs to group
