Commission Regulation 1828/06
Sampling in case of small populations
Annex IV of 1828/06 is modified
to cover cases where the number of operations is too small to
allow for a statistical sampling method.
• A non-statistical method may be used
• The method must ensure random selection
• The size of the sample must be based on level of assurance
from systems and be sufficient for AA to draw valid
conclusions

Partial closure
Proposed modification:
In Article 88 (3), the following subparagraph is added:
• "However, in cases where the irregularities in operations
which have been subject to a declaration of partial closure are
detected by the Member State, Article 98(2) and (3) shall apply.
“
• Net corrections only when irregularities are detected by
Commission and European Court of Auditors.
