preparing them for life after high school

Middle School Curriculum
• We use numerous different Online curriculum providers for our
course work.
• Teachers work with curriculum and student need to determine and
develop the best fit for each student.
• Besides online work, the teachers are developing and implementing
in class lessons for when students are in the classroom and need
support or acceleration of a subject.
• Edgenuity will be our main provider for core curriculum this year
• Odysseyware will be used for some subjects, electives and other
curriculum needs

Attendance Options
Students have the ability to choose the attendance model that is good for them and
their work. We are an independent study program, which means students are
required to work outside of the school day/physical classroom to complete all course
requirements.
Regardless of the model chosen by the student, there will be significant amounts of
work that must be done outside of the classroom meeting times.
If a student’s selects a specific attendance model, but they are not meeting their
appointment/classroom meeting times and/or not completing their course work, their
attendance model and placement at Rivercrest will be evaluated and they could be
required to return to their home school.

“This is no exaggeration, we have experienced everything from
public, private, to home school, an aviation academy and
honestly Rivercrest has been the best on every level. The
organization with everything is amazing. Which is awesome
considering this is the first year. But the staff that has been
selected for this school is the best!! It’s such a relief for a parent
to have peace of mind knowing that our girls are very well taken
care of. Also because we have had traumatic incidents that left
them all traumatized and this school is helping them past that.”
