Purpose
 All of the Computer Commons classrooms have been
upgraded to MS Office 2010 to support instruction in
information technology courses offered by the BUS/IT
Division.
 MS Office 2010 is not a significant upgrade from MS Office
2007 but, there are some useful changes that we point out in
this presentation.
Special Notes to Instructors
 The “Office” button has been replaced.
The “File” menu is now part of the
ribbon.
 The default font face and size for
Word 2010 is Calibri 11.
 The default paragraph settings for Word
2010 are set to 10pt spacing after each
paragraph and the line spacing is set to
1.15.
The Computer Commons has a handout that
explains how to change these settings.
