There were several issues which were deemed to be
potential risks for this project some of which are:
Inadequate planning, poor definition of scope, absence of
leadership, poor cost estimates, poor time estimates,
website too complex, availability of products,
inadequate technical/customer support,
hardware/software issued, inadequate staff training.

Is there a maintenance contract with this site?

Answer 1:
No. Key staff members will be trained to use and
maintain this website, both front and back end.
This will help in order to ensure complete system uptime
and customer accessibility.

Of the risks that were associated with this project, what

The three majors concerns that were identified were:

If the project scope change is approved and the project is
updated, how will the new scope effect the project
work already completed?

A new scope is only likely to be approved after the
project has already started if it provides significant
advantage to the current scope and only causes
minimal, if any, changes to the project work already
completed.

Yes. Because we are using software built specifically for
this purpose, this should not be a problem in terms of
cost or time required to implement the required
changes.

What is one of the major impacts on existing customers?

Method of payment, currently only two options
available: credit card and cheque/money order.
Previously customers could phone in an order and pay in
person.
