Before you ask what someone can do for you, do
something for them
If you lead with a sales pitch, you will be dismissed!

Most professionals list: Job title, Employer
Accountant II at Williams
Vice President at Bank of Oklahoma
Production Supervisor at The Charles Machine Works
Senior Buyer at Braden Manufacturing
Admin Assistant at NORDAM

Janna’s profile is “Premium” so she pays to
have a photo in the background (nice,
downtown pic!)
She says what she does then adds a tag about
what problem she solves.
#3.1. Summary
Concise, brief, to the point, economy of words;
in short, a summary!
Answer the question “what problem do you
solve for an employer?”
Make it easy to read; break up blocks of text
with bulleted list
New on the job? Focus on what the company
does and your role
