• Collection of web-based programs • File storage • Run in a web browser • Software needed – none for most apps – Some require a download (ex - Talk or Chat) • Just create an account and log in to use them

Communication Tools

• Gmail • Google Buzz – Social Networking – like Twitter • Google Talk or Chat – Needs Software • Google Calendar • Google Groups

Productivity Tools

• Google Docs – Document – Presentation – Spreadsheet • Work any time, any place • Platform Neutral • Shared – Collaborate in Time, rather than place

• Video – Local channel – recommended for only teachers and staff • Sites – Can be shared
