Our objective is to make football a positive experience for the players
and the people involved with Coronado Football
We will demand excellence in all dealings with players and coaches
If the players can keep up with the coaches pace we will be successful
We will build TEAM unity and do our best to dissolve dissention
amongst team members
Coaching is INTENSE teaching
Make all people associated with the program feel like they are an
important part of the game plan
Never hesitate to tell players and coaches that we appreciate their
efforts and during a long season we will all experience times of
depression. It is at those times that one encouraging word is like a ray
of sunshine
We will practice to win and play to win

Football Website (coronadocougarfb.com)

Las Vegas, Nevada (February 28, 2013)--Cascata is about as good as it gets for the Las Vegas Golf
Region. Golfers cherish the opportunity to tee it up at this Top 100 golf courses which has earned 29 out of
30 points from the prestigious ZAGAT survey. And now the annual benefit golf tournament for the Coronado
High School football program is scheduled at the course on June 24, 2013. Head Coach Brad Talich, along
with several assistant coaches who played in the NFL, led Coronado to the best season in school history in
2012, and all proceeds from this Las Vegas golf tournament will help strengthen the future of the program. -By Brian Hurlburt
"Last year we went 10-3 and made it to the state of Nevada semi-final game, and that is the best showing
by any football team in the history of Coronado," says Talich, who was in his first year in 2012. "From day
one of spring practice, we started to instill an overall team philosophy of hard work, and the kids put that
philosophy to good use throughout the year and were rewarded for it. And already this spring we see the
kids in Coronado community buying into our system and philosophy even more, and we have high
expectations again for the coming season. The future of the Coronado football program is very bright and
this golf event will help us continue to be successful, and we thank our sponsors and golfers in advance for
the support."
Cascata was once called "Golf's Hidden Treasure" by Sports Illustrated, and has hosted events surrounding
Tiger Jam (Tiger Woods' annual fundraiser), and it is also a home of the Butch Harmon School of Golf in
Las Vegas. The course is owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment. Celebrities and Tour pros play
the course on a regular basis. Click now for the official photo gallery of Cascata.
Teams of four are $700 for the Coronado tournament, and other sponsorships are available. The top
sponsor (Red) is $2500 and includes a foursome, a sign on a tee box, a Red Coronado Homecoming jersey
with name on back, a full-page ad in the 2013 football program, a banner at all home football games, and
more. You can click to email Coach Talich for all details and signups. And be sure to check the Coronado
football website for more details and tournament updates.
Talich is joined on the coaching staff by several coaches with NFL experience and blood lines. Those
coaches who played in the NFL are two-time SuperBowl Champion Mike Cofer (49ers) and Brian Noble, a
NFL veteran who played with the Green Bay Packers. Also on the staff is George Yarno, the son of
Jacksonville Jaguars offensive line coach.
