Recruiting- Menu containing links to the functions where managers create and
browse jobs, view applicant pools and make job offers. (Mgrs Desktop in 8.3)
Careers/Candidate Gateway- Provides applicants access to view and apply for
current job openings. External applicants enter via HR Website,
www.bc.edu/bcjobs. Internal applicants enter via Agora.
Create New Job Opening –You will need a Position Number, Name of Recruiter,
Name of Interviewers, Job Description and Requirements.

OID/Screening- When creating a job opening, remember to upload the mandatory
OID questions. You will need to run the OID process before interviewing any
applicants. Screening enables the manager to compare job opening requirements
to the applicant’s qualifications and accomplishments. If you want to include
additional screening questions on your job opening please call your employment
contact.
Browse Job Openings- This function displays a list of job openings to which you are
associated. A majority of the work will be performed through Browse Job Opening
link. You will be able to view applicants, screen applicants, and make job offers
using this link.

Find Job Openings- See a list of job openings by entering a search criteria.
Recruiting>Find Job Openings
Applicant Status – To change an applicant status, select a job opening and select a
new status from the Take Action drop down menu.
Recruiting>Browse Job Openings
Applicant Disposition - To change an applicant status to Offer Accepted select a
job opening. Click on the current status of the applicant in the Disposition column.
Click on Click icon to edit disposition details and select the new disposition from
the Status Code drop down menu.

Process Flow of an Applicant Lifecycle- Applied> Passed or Reviewed> Reject,
Hold or Interview >Prepare Job Offer> Accept Job Offer. This functionality is
within Recruiting>Browse Job Openings.
Prepare a Job Offer- Candidates must be in the interview status prior to preparing
a job offer. Select the job opening to view its Applicant Activity. To Prepare a Job
Offer, select Prepare a Job Offer under Take Action column. Complete the offer
and click on SUBMIT. This will initiate the Approval Process.

Pending Approvals- Located under the Recruiting Menu. All job
openings/approvals can be done from here or through email.
