Highlights:
• tight tolerances – very small pitch errors
axial forming of splines possible also on thin walled tubular components
• excellent surface quality, little roughness
• block teeth and missing teeth possible
• short cycle times (for example 5 seconds)
• low tooling costs / high tooling performance (approx. 50.000 pcs. and greater)
• cold formed part / possibility of taking advantage of hardness increase
• homogenous internal stress distribution / little deformation during heat
treatment
