Go Ye Therefore
We Are Commanded to Witness
1. Because of His work on
the cross and
resurrection, Jesus is
given all power and
authority in heaven and
earth (Matthew 28:18).
We Are Commanded to Witness
2. Jesus commanded his
disciples and commands
us to go and share our
faith in Jesus Christ with
the world
(Matthew 28:19a).
We Are Commanded to Witness
3. We are commanded to
baptize people who come
to Christ in the name of
the Trinity – Father, Son
and Holy Spirit
(Matthew 28:19b).
We Are Commanded to Witness
4. We are commanded to
teach those who come to
Christ to observe all the
teachings that Jesus
taught the disciples
(Matthew 28:20a).
We Are Commanded to Witness
5. Jesus will be present
with us until the end of
the world
(Matthew 28:20b).
Multiple Approaches to Witnessing
1. Lifestyle evangelism –
“Let your light so shine
before men that they see
your good works and
glorify your Father who is
in heaven (Matthew 5:16).
Multiple Approaches to Witnessing
2. Sharing our faith by
verbally sharing the word
– “For we preach not
ourselves, but Christ
Jesus the Lord; and
ourselves your servants
for Jesus' sake”
(2 Corinthians 4:5)
Multiple Approaches to Witnessing
3. Praying for others –
“Therefore He said to
them, The harvest truly is
great but the laborers are
few: pray therefore to the
Lord of the harvest, that
He will send forth
laborers into His harvest
(Luke 10:2).

Four Spiritual Laws
Just as there are physical
laws that govern the
physical universe, so
there are spiritual laws
that govern your
relationship with God.
Four Spiritual Laws
Law 1
God loves you and has a
wonderful plan for your
life.
Four Spiritual Laws
Law 1 Verses
God’s Love –
“God so loved the world
that He gave His one and
only Son, that whoever
believes in Him shall not
perish but have eternal
life” (John 3:16, NIV).
Four Spiritual Laws
Law 1 Verses
God’s Plan –
“I (Jesus) came that they might
have life, and have it
abundantly
(John 10:10).
Why is it that people are not
experiencing the abundant
life? Because …
Four Spiritual Laws
Law 2
Man is sinful and
separated from God.
Therefore he cannot know
and experience God’s
love and plan for his life.
Four Spiritual Laws
Law 2 Verse
Man is Sinful –
“All have sinned and fall
short of the glory of
God.”
(Romans 3:23, KJV)
Four Spiritual Laws
Law 2
A great gulf separates a holy
God and sinful man that
no one can cross from
their own works.
Four Spiritual Laws
Law 3
Jesus Christ is the only
provision for man’s sin.
Through Him you can
know and experience
God’s love and plan for
your life.
Four Spiritual Laws
Law 3 Verses
He Died in Our Place –
“God demonstrates His own
love toward us, in that
while we were yet
sinners, Christ died for
us (Romans 5:8).
Four Spiritual Laws
Law 3 Verses
He Rose from the Dead –
“Christ died for our sins…. He
was buried… He was raised
on the third day, according to
the Scriptures…. He
appeared to Peter, then to
the twelve. After that He
appeared to more than five
hundred…” (1 Corinthians
15:3-6)
Four Spiritual Laws
Law 3 Verses
He Is the Only Way to God –
“Jesus said to Him, ‘I am the
way, the truth, and the
life; no one comes to the
Father but through Me.”
(Jon 14:6)
Four Spiritual Laws
Law 4
We must individually receive
Jesus Christ as Savior
and Lord; then we can
know and experience
God’s love and plan for
our lives.
Four Spiritual Laws
Law 4 Verses
We Must Receive Christ –
“As many as received Him,
to them He gave the right
to become the children of
God, even to those who
believe in His name
(John 1:12).
Four Spiritual Laws
Law 4 Verses
We Receive Christ By Grace
Through Faith –
“By grace you have been saved
through faith; and that not of
yourselves, it is the gift of
God; not as a result of works
that no one should boast”
(Ephesians 2:8-9)
Four Spiritual Laws
Law 4 Verses
When We Receive Christ, We
Experience the New Birth –
Jesus said “You must be born
again”, that You must be
born not physically (by
water) but spiritually (by
spirit) (John 3:1-8)
Four Spiritual Laws
Law 4 Comment
When We Receive Christ by
Personal Invitation –
Jesus speaking, “Behold I stand
at the door and knock; if
anyone hears My voice and
opens the door, I will come
into to Him
(Revelation 3:20)
Four Spiritual Laws
Prayer to Receive Christ:
“Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank
You for dying on the cross
for my sins. I open the door
of my life and receive You as
my Savior and Lord. Thank
You for forgiving my sins and
giving me eternal life. Take
control of the throne of my
life. Make me the kind of
person You want me to be.

which goes through the
Book of Romans in order

Roman Road
Romans 1:20-21: "For since the
creation of the world His invisible
attributes are clearly seen, being
understood by the things that are
made, even His eternal power and
Godhead, so that they are without
excuse, because, although they
knew God, they did not glorify Him
as God, nor were thankful, but
became futile in their thoughts,
and their foolish hearts were
darkened." We must acknowledge
God as the Creator of everything
and accept our humble position in
God's creation.
Roman Road
Romans 3:23 “For all have
sinned, and fall short of
the glory of God.” We
must all realize that we
are sinners and that we
need forgiveness. We are
not worthy of God’s
grace.
Roman Road
Romans 5:8 “But God
demonstrates His love toward
us, in that, while we were still
sinners, Christ died for us.”
Through Jesus, God gave us
a way to be saved from our
sins. God showed us His love
by giving us the potential for
life through the death of His
Son, Jesus Christ.
Roman Road
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of
sin is death, but the gift of
God is eternal life in Christ
Jesus our Lord.” If we remain
sinners, we will die. However,
if we accept Jesus as our
Lord and Savior, and repent
of our sins, we will have
eternal life.
Roman Road
Romans 10:9-10 “That if you confess
with your mouth the Lord Jesus
and believe in your heart that God
has raised Him from the dead, you
will be saved. For with the heart
one believes unto righteousness,
and with the mouth confession is
made unto salvation." Just
confess that Jesus Christ is Lord
and believe in your heart that God
raised Him from the dead and you
will be saved!
Roman Road
Romans 10:13 “For whoever
calls on the name of the
LORD shall be saved.” There
are no religious formulas or
rituals -- Call upon the name
of the Lord and you will be
saved!
Roman Road
Romans 11:36: "For of Him
and through Him and to
Him are all things, to
whom be glory forever.
Amen." Determine in your
heart to make Jesus
Christ the Lord of your
life today.

Roman Road: Are You Ready to Accept
God’s Gift of Salvation?
If you truly believe the message of
the Roman Road, and want to
accept God’s gift of salvation right
now, it's a matter of repenting of
your sins and turning the rest of
your life over to Jesus Christ.
Again, this is not a ritual based on
any specific words or prayers, but
rather, a willful decision and a
sincere step of faith.
Roman Road
Roman Road Prayer:
Father, I know that I have broken your laws
and my sins have separated me from you.
I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn
away from my past sinful life toward you.
Please forgive me, and help me avoid
sinning again. I believe that your son,
Jesus Christ died for my sins, was
resurrected from the dead, is alive, and
hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become
the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my
heart from this day forward. Please send
your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and
to do Your will for the rest of my life. In
Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”
