1. Cynllunio ôl-16 / Planning post-16
Cyhoeddwyd adroddiad ‘Anghenion o ran sgiliau Cymraeg mewn
Wyth Sector’. Prif Weinidog Cymru wedi nodi’r angen am ragor o
brentisiaethau drwy gyfrwng y Gymraeg.
Sut y bydd / sut y dylai eich sefydliad chi ymateb i’r
adroddiad hwn ac i sylwadau’r Prif Weinidog?
The report 'The demand for Welsh language skills across Eight
Sectors’ has been published. The First Minister has highlighted
the need for more apprenticeships in Welsh.
How do you feel that FE Colleges are responding to the
report and on the basis of what the First Minister has said
about post- 16 ?
2. Cyflogadwyedd / Employability
Trafodwch, sut yr ydym yn cwrdd ag anghenion y gweithle am
sgiliau Cymraeg ar wahanol lefelau – ydy’r cymwysterau yn ein
cefnogi neu yn ein rhwystro? e.e. BAC Cymru, Learning

Discuss how we reach the needs of the workplace for Welsh
language skills at different levels - are the qualifications

3. Strategaeth Ddwyieithrwydd / Bilingualism Strategy
Mae 3 rhan i strategaeth ColegauCymru ar ddwyieithrwydd:
• Datblygu ethos Cymraeg yn y coleg
• Datblygu sgiliau cyfathrebu dwyieithog i ychwanegu at ddarpariaeth cyfrwng
Saesneg
• Datblygu darpariaeth cyfrwng Cymraeg neu ddwyieithog ôl-14
Ydy’r 3 elfen wedi’u cyrraedd? Beth hoffech chi weld yn y
diweddariad o’r strategaeth?
There are 3 elements to ColegauCymru’s Bilingualism Strategy: Mae
• Develop a Welsh ethos in college
• Develop bilingual communication skills to augment English -medium provision
• Develop a Welsh medium or bilingual provision for post–14
Have the 3 elements been reached/achieved? What would you like
to see in the update of the strategy?
4. Gweithlu / Workforce
Mae’r Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol wedi llwyddo i greu pwll o
adnoddau staffio sy’n cyrraedd anghenion y myfyrwyr sydd am
astudio trwy’r Gymraeg.
Beth am myfyrwyr Colegau AB a’u gofynion? Sut ydym yn gallu
cynyddu’r galw am gyrsiau Cymraeg ac yna cwrdd ag
anghenion o safbwynt darparu gweithlu digonol?
The Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol has managed to create a pool
of staffing resources that are more than able to meet the needs
and demands of students who wish to study through the
medium of Welsh.
What about students in FE and their requirements? How can
we increase demand for Welsh language courses and then how
we can fulfil needs in terms of staffing?

Mae angen i’r Gymraeg fod yn rhan o Genhadaeth, Gwelediaeth
a Gwerthoedd craidd colegau AB er mwyn sicrhau fod y
Gymraeg a dwyieithrwydd yn rhan o isadeiledd Colegau yng
Nghymru. Trafodwch.
Welsh must be part of the Vision, the Mission and the Core
Values of FE Colleges in Wales, in order to ensure that the Welsh
language and bilingualism is part of the infrastructure and is
integral to all they do. Discuss.
