Bullying

 Repeated act of aggression  Harms the victim physically or psychologically

         Name calling Teasing Obscene gestures Hitting Pushing or shoving Spitting at someone Threats Theft Vandalism, graffiti         Taunting Intimidation Derogatory words and displays Assault or battery Obnoxious behaviors Leers and stares Excluding others Spreading rumors, gossip

Sexual Harassment

   Harassment that is sexual in nature Can be quo or quid pro hostile environment Embarrass, intimidate, scare and confuse their victims

        Comments about your body Spreading sexual rumors Inappropriate touching Sexual remarks or accusations Dirty jokes or stories Displaying or sending obscene pictures Obscene sexual gestures Flirting that is one sided       Calling someone 'gay', 'fag', 'lesbian' etc.

Snapping bra straps or elastic on underwear, de-pantsing Flashing, mooning, touching oneself sexually Sexual assault or attempted sexual assault Public displays of affection Obscene clothing – too revealing, graphics

Stalking

 Victim is unable to get away from the harasser  Right to privacy is violated  Fear for their safety

 Following  Watching the victim's house or other places they will be  Unwanted calls or texts  Sending unwanted emails or notes

Hazing

 Used by groups to maintain a pecking order  Prove your worthiness to be a member  Quid pro quo harassment

 Compelled ingestion - i.e. alcohol, drugs  Wearing something obscene in public  Being physically burdened  Participation in physical contests  Public nudity  Physical or sexual assault - i.e. being beaten in raped in or  Abandonment or confinement  Sleep deprivation  Pranks or crimes

Cyber-Bullying

 Using cell phones, internet or other digital devices to harass  Harassment takes place in cyberspace  Intended to embarrass, slander or harm the victim
