Background to Brunel MSc in Management
• Successful, longstanding programme – 56th in FT Masters in
Management, 2011 list (up from 59th in 2010); 8th globally for
career progression
• Target market- UK/EU and international students wanting to
enhance their career prospects as managers or progress to a
PhD
• Current market situation – strong brand, enhanced market
position, enhanced competiveness, strong student
recruitment, sustainability (70+ students enrolled, 2012-13 )

• PCC will seek placements or internships for students, to gain

• Students supported by BBS academic plus work supervisor
• Extra module – Placement and Consultancy Preparation
• Students successfully completing placement receive special
named award, e.g. MSc Management (Creative Industries)

and London Metals Exchange, Silverstone, Tata JLR (Coventry)

companies and foreign owned MNEs), business speakers, gala
reception and dinner, city tours, etc)

– 2.1 degree in business-related discipline;
– 2.2 considered, with 2 years work experience;
– non-business/management disciplines (and without any
business/management element) if first class honours degree
– non-degree applicants with 5 years work experience,
– IELTS Level 6.5
