Plagiarism
The School considers plagiarism as an
unacceptable practice. Serious action will be
taken against any student who is found to have
taken material substantially from a source
without giving it due acknowledgement.
We would like to inculcate the culture where
students can be proud of their own work

Always cite the reference(s) of
the text you have summarised
programs, diagrams or figures taken from books,
papers, website etc.
Summarise the text rather than copy
verbatim or just alter the text very slightly.
Sparing use of original (i.e. verbatim) quotes
from a text must be shown in inverted
commas. This is used merely to emphasise a
point
