 The Expert area in the Participant Portal is a frontend platform for experts interactions with the research
DGs and Agencies.
 The system was launched in July 2012 and currently
serves as a registration service for experts to submit
their profile (replaces CORDIS) with a view to being
considered for an assignment with the
Commission/Agency.
 53,125 experts currently registered of which 42,915 are
valid profiles.

One of the main objectives of the registration service launched
in July 2012 was to enhance the data quality:


requirement to complete all fields in order to have a 'valid' profile.
Only valid profiles are visible in EMI.

Call for expression of interest to be published on 22
November 2013 and H2020 registration in EMPP will be open.

Interested experts will be required to select H2020 box and
advised to update their expertise (new specialist fields and
pre-defined themes).

