Refrigerant-handling Certification
EPA Section 608 training materials and testing opportunities
are available through RSES. RSES has one of the largest
Environmental Protection Agency testing programs in the
industry, and RSES training materials have been used to certify
nearly 200,000 technicians in accordance with Section 608 of
the U.S. Clean Air Act.
Providing Certification Preparation
R-410A Safety Certification
As more manufacturers build air-conditioning equipment using
R-410A, it is important that contractors and technicians
understand the safe handling, charging, operating
characteristics and proper applications of this refrigerant.
RSES provides the exams and training materials for the
Universal R-410A Safety and Training exam as a convenience
to our members. (Exams and certifications are issued by HVAC
Excellence.)
Providing Certification Preparation
North American Technician Excellence
RSES is a proud supporter of NATE; a coalition of partners
sharing a stake in advancing the professionalism of HVACR
technicians.
RSES offers extensive NATE certification preparatory materials
in manual, CD and CD/DVD formats. Additionally, a number of
RSES training courses and seminars have been recognized for
NATE CEHs.
