Use Google to find tweeps who use iPads in education

You should know these basic terms:
Follower-On Twitter, you “follow” another user to see his or her updates on your Twitter home page, and they follow
you to see yours.
Tweet-Each message you send out to your followers through Twitter is called a “tweet.”
ReTweet-When you see a tweet that you think your followers would be interested in, you can click the “retweet”
button to make that tweet appear in your followers’ home pages. They’ll know you were the one who shared it.
Hashtag-A hashtag is simply a keyword preceded by the hash symbol, like #IWB. Include it in your tweet and anyone
who searches for that hashtag will see your updates.
Trending-When a term is extremely popular on Twitter at any given moment, it’s “trending.” Twitter’s home page
offers a list of trending terms.
Example of a trending topic: #WhatIfIToldYou
#WhatIfIToldYou that soy milk is just regular milk, introducing himself in Spanish.

The # is associated with a keyword/phrase that you can
search for
The last part of the tweet is a URL.
So this tweet is telling 4 people that what they said
during the AT Chat was quoted in Storify.

How to get more people to read your tweets:
Time of day- repeat messages to find best time
Tweet someone or some# that has a lot of followers
Ask a question about a hot topic
Promote your Twitter account on your FB, your Blog, Email signature
Post a link to an interesting article
Create a niche
'Retweet' or 'Favorite' someone's tweet, they see that and may mention you and follow
you
Try paper.li and allow non tweeters to subscribe to your 'newspaper'

web. Go to www.topsy.com/tweets to search for older
tweets you can't find.
