How to cope with an Intruder
• Listen carefully!
• Write down the most important facts!
• Make a Sound File!
• Report to the Monitoring System
Listen carefully, do not jam the intruder!
How YOU can help too:
• Perhaps you speak a foreign language to understand
and identify the intruder
• Perhaps you are a good CW operator
• Perhaps you can listen at „impossible“ times
• Perhaps you own a special Decoder to
identify Digital Signals
Listen carefully, make a note, and report to the IARU

• Switch the
receiver in
position
SSB, then
tune to ZeroBeat and
read the
frequency!

Transmitter Harmonic
• Listen on the
supposed
Fundamental.
• „Harmonics“ of
7120 kHz (e.g.) are
14240, 21360,
28480 kHz
• Divide your
„harmonic“ by 2, 3,
4, 5 etc. and listen
on the supposed
Fundamental!

minutes break.
• Sometimes you can
hear „Sound-of-Hope“ in
this break period
