Some Outcomes
• Direct Referral to Orthopaedic and Neurology Consultants (MDT).
• Direct Referral to Orthotics (MDT)
• Redesigned neurology pathways raised profile of therapies and as a result
gained funding for additional therapy posts (CQUIN)
• Been at the heart of the redesign of Out of Hospital care (they asked us)
• Therapy Centre: Identified a need, gained support to address,
commissioners used it in the local press to promote themselves (good for
them and us).
• Influencing the estates agenda; estate developed to meet needs of service
provision.
