Electron Microscopy - TEM

2 nm

     Transmission Electron Microscope JEOL JEM 2100 Structural Characterization Thermo source (LaB6 filament) Operates at 120 KV (

for more sensitive samples / bio samples

) and 200 KV ( for other materials )

Resolution: 1.4 Å (lattice / atomic planes)

EDX capabilities (Chemical elements)  Two digital cameras:  Gatan ES500W (high speed + high quality imaging w/ field of view larger than traditional / allow imaging of intense electron diffraction patterns w/o blooming artifact)  Gatan Orius SC 1000 – ultra high quality in high resolution Dr. Marcela Redigolo (304-293-9973) [email protected]
