A publicly available document by which a federal agency makes known its intentions to award discretionary grants or cooperative agreements, usually as a result of competition for funds NOFA: Notice of Funding Availability FOA: Funding Opportunity Announcement RFP: Request For Proposal 2: A compendium of Federal assistance programs, which are administered by departments and established b y the U.S. Federal Government. A directory of various Federal programs, projects, services and activities that offer assistance and benefits the American Public. Assist user in finding program that meet certain criteria objectives of prospective applicants. What can be used as in-kind match? What is the time period for the grant to be completed? Does the time period fit the project? Can you complete the project in time? What are the reporting requirements? 18 What are the reporting requirements? Program reports Financial reports How often, written, web-based, detailed? Are there any “fine print” items mentioned?
