INTRODUCTION
The survey was commissioned by the Management
Council To Provide information on the faculty's
experience in USIU. These important in the day to
day running of this university.
The study targeted the full time faculty in USIU .
A questionnaire was used to collect the data .
48 full time faculty filled in and returned the
questionnaire.
This translates to a 66% response rate.

More On Research
A significantly higher proportion of Faculty members with
Doctorate qualification had applied for grants.
A significantly higher proportion of male Faculty members had
received grants compared to Female Faculty members.
A significantly higher number of faculty members in the school of
Business had worked with students in research projects than the
faculty in the school of Arts and Sciences .
This could be attributed to the fact that there are more post
Graduate Students registered in the school of Business.
The study compiled a list of the papers/ books the faculty are
currently working on
