INTRODUCTION
 The survey was commissioned by the Management




Council To Provide information on the faculty's
experience in USIU. These important in the day to
day running of this university.
The study targeted the full time faculty in USIU .
A questionnaire was used to collect the data .
48 full time faculty filled in and returned the
questionnaire.
This translates to a 66% response rate.

More On Research
 A significantly higher proportion of Faculty members with
Doctorate qualification had applied for grants.
 A significantly higher proportion of male Faculty members had
received grants compared to Female Faculty members.
 A significantly higher number of faculty members in the school of
Business had worked with students in research projects than the
faculty in the school of Arts and Sciences .
 This could be attributed to the fact that there are more post
Graduate Students registered in the school of Business.
 The study compiled a list of the papers/ books the faculty are
currently working on
