The Workshop: Detailed Budget Estimate Report Example 1 – Staff Costs Assignment of a projects officer to be paid an hourly rate of 10€ for 50hrs Recruitment of a projects manager to be paid a monthly salary of €1500 for 1 year. Answer for Example 1 Example 2 – Travel Costs 4 Delegates will be coming to Malta on 1st March and will leave 5th March having a per diem rate of 205€ The flight of each delegate costs €300 Answer for Example 2 Example 3: Sub- Contracting & Equipment • Procurement of a venue for a total cost of €1,000 excl. VAT. • Cost includes food items for the value of €500 excl. VAT. • Cost also includes the cost of a projector for the value of €100 excl. VAT • Procurement of a laptop for the use of the project for a total cost of €800 incl. VAT.
