Letters of recommendation from teachers, mentors,
coaches and school counselor are usually required

Ask for permission – from their teachers, coaches,
employer, mentor and school counselor
Give them time - Three to four weeks is an
appropriate amount of time
Seniors are required to- create a resume and
complete the yellow senior questionnaire.

Many college reps visit BV through out the Fall.
These are announced in the school bulletin
Students must sign-up in the counseling office to
attend these visitations

Seniors need to continue to explore Career interests
and aptitudes in Naviance
Encourage your senior to retake their Career Interest
Survey and Personality Assessment
Research Careers and College Majors – based on
what they know about their self
Visit the Bella Vista College & Career Center located
in the library. Open daily at lunch.
College Athletics:

Must register with the NCAA Eligibility Center

Bella Vista Graduation Traditions



Bella Vista’s graduation ceremony is held in
the Bella Vista Main Quad in the morning.
Students behave respectfully and with
decorum.
Dress code: The school dress code is in
effect; Boys are expected to wear dress
shoes, dress pants and a button-up shirt;
Girls are expected to wear a skirt/blouse or
dress and dress shoes.

No adornments of caps and gowns
Poor behavior that draws attention from the
ceremony will result in removal
Get here early-parking is limited
