The first initiative mobilising angel market
players across the globe for a common goal:
Raising worldwide awareness on angel
investment
11-17 November 2014 (?)
• Independent events with a common umbrella brand:
the GloBAW!
• Takes place over a week in different locations with
support of local partners;
•Target audience: angel investors (actual and in
potential) and the wide community engaging and/or
supporting angel investment in each region; early stage
market players
• Administrative coordination : EBAN
• GloBAW coordination committee:
1 member per world region (6-8 members)
• 1 GloBAW Ambassador per country
• Co-organisation with national & international
angel investment organisations
• Raise awareness on angel investment globally,
including media & market stakeholders
• Set angel investment as pathway to growth
• Share best practices from angel communities in
different countries
• Incorporate angel investment topic in
entrepreneurship related events
• Mapping all GloBAW events worldwide in a
single calendar
