Brokerage System
Brokerage Overview
BROKERAGE
Ideal for:
•Freight Forwarders
•Customs brokers
•3rd party Logistics
The broker system is generally
used by Non-Asset based
companies to control
shipments which will be
picked-up and delivered by
trucking companies. It is
essentially a dispatch control,
but rather than be concerned
with productivity, the goal is to
manage the outside carriers to
ensure that the work is done.
Non-Asset based companies use
the system to schedule
pickups and deliveries of
shipments as though the
trucking facilities are part of
the company. Brokerage firms
can use the system to track
freight movement as well as
billing information. This system
is also available to LTL
companies with departments
specializing in Truck Load or
Brokerage moves.
Brokerage System
The system allows users to provide
a Quote, Create a Pickup, and
Trace Shipments. Historical
Information can be accessed to view
previous moves from a particular
shipper, or even canceled trips.

Shipments can be moved from an
LTL system to the Brokerage
System in a seamless manner.
Freight Bill Entry and Reporting can
also be accomplished to provide
information regarding accounts

achieving proper service levels for
picking up freight.
