What is Digital Storytelling?
•
• the art of telling stories with some mixture of
digital images, text, recorded audio
narration, video, and/or music to present
information on a specific topic (Univ. of
Houston)
• Brief (usually 2-10 minutes)
Digital Storytelling can be as
Simple or Complex
As You Want to Make It!

• Personal stories or tales (personal
narrative)
• Recounting of historical events
• Life in your community
• Work of fiction
• Book review, report, or booktalk
• Documentary
• A poem brought to life (try starting with a
fill-in-the-blank poem creator)
