Swimming News
Good Luck to the OC Swimmer's that are
participating in the WPIAL Championships on
Thursday and Friday at the University of
Pittsburgh.

Public Forum
The public forum is today at periods 8 and
9. Eighth period teachers should take role
and then bring their junior class over to the
Joan of Arc theater.
All juniors are to attend as are all mixed
classes.

Student Breakfast during periods 2 and 3.

Irish Dance Club
• The Irish Dance Club will meet today after
school in Ms. White’s room.
• All new dancers must attend to learn the
dance for the talent show.

There are currently more than
2.9 million Breast Cancer
survivors in the United States.
1 in 8 women will be diagnosed
with Breast Cancer. A
diagnosis is made about every
two minutes.
Model UN
• The OC Model UN Team needs one more
member to go to their competition in New
York City, March 4th through.8th.
• There is a cost involved.
• Email Abby Annear: [email protected] as
soon as possible.
Spirit weeks is less than 3 weeks away. Anyone
interested in participating in the spirit week
talent show and earning their class spirit points,
please sign up in guidance. Auditions for all acts
will be next Wednesday, February 26th in the
JOA theatre.

at the WPIAL Diving Competition on Saturday
at North Allegheny.

Forensics News
Congratulations to Maria Navarro and Anastasia
Bodea Crisan who both competed at the
PHSSL Forensics Qualifiers over the weekend.
Anastasia was named first runner up in the
Senate Competition.
Maria earned a 1st place in Informative Speaking
and will represent Oakland at the State
Forensics Tournament.

Guidance Office. All acceptances, waitlist,
denial, and scholarship letters must be
copied.
