 Freshman admission to the University will continue to be highly competitive  Options for referral to campuses with additional space are expected to be limited  Most campuses will use waitlists. 7

Eligibility in the Local Context (ELC)

 The process has changed this year.  ELC is now the top 9% of the graduating class on a GPA determined by the UC based on prior years.

 Only UC Merced will guarantee admission to applicants.
