New Program

Project Lead The Way (PLTW):
PLTW is a program that applies engineering,
science, math, and technology through a projectbased, hands-on approach to solve complex,
open-ended problems in a real-world context.
Students focus on the process of defining and
solving a problem, not on getting the “right”
answer. They learn how to apply STEM
knowledge, skills, and habits of mind to make the
world a better place through innovation.

Credit Requirement

All students must enroll in 7 credits (7.5 if
you choose jazz ensemble or vocal jazz)

Make sure you register for required classes
if you failed any this year or last year.
You will have the opportunity to input your
selections into the computer in study hall on
Jan. 28 and Feb. 2. You must turn in your
course selection sheet at that time.

You may also enter your selections into
Skyward online on your own after Jan.
16. Instructions will be on the school’s
website. Please make sure to turn your
course selection sheet in to the guidance
office, or turn it in with the others on the
day your study hall inputs their
selections.
