design and Microsoft Office applications.
Resume of Cliff Raymond
EXPERIENCE
Columbia Gulf Transmission Co., Houston, Texas
1987-2003
Team Lead, Lead IT Analyst, and Systems Analyst for Real-time Systems
• Lead Business Analyst for gas control, measurement, modeling and technical services
teams, integrating real-time pipeline data with business applications and providing primary
IT support.
• Provided 24x7 technical support and training of integrated gas control, measurement
verification and transient/steady-state model applications and systems. Thorough
understanding of process and architecture permitted rapid troubleshooting and resolution
of problems.
• Performed database configuration of compressor station and flow measurement
telemetry. In 2003, successfully managed the SCADA side of a compressor station
automation project that allows unattended operation of compressors in Louisiana,
Mississippi, Tennessee and Kentucky by Houston-based Gas Controllers.
• Designed, built and maintained operator interface screens used by gas control,
measurement and field personnel.
• Designed screens interfacing real-time data into the company Intranet, permitting
maintenance technicians to remotely monitor and troubleshoot communications failures,
reducing costly site visits and after-hours callouts.

Resume of Cliff Raymond
EXPERIENCE (cont.)
• Designed, configured and maintained SCADA processes that allow external
customers to access their real-time data on a secure website.
• Created a SCADA Knowledgebase for use by both operational and support
personnel.
• Participated as the SCADA representative in a pipeline security and vulnerability
analysis team in wake of 9/11 attacks.
• Instructor for "Wellhead to Burnertip" training seminar, and created PowerPoint/VB
applications used to introduce employees to concepts of orifice measurement, gas
compression, flow, velocity, and pipeline inventory analysis.
• Designed and wrote Excel applications used by Gas Control to calculate system
inventory, and which also display current operating data for all mainline compressors
and gas meters.
• Designed and coded Fortran application for calculating real-time
transportation/exchange imbalances.
• Successfully managed the SCADA system through three major upgrades.
• Provided project management and personal computer support as required.
