• 2012 – the Queen celebrated her Diamond ( 60 th ) Jubilee • 2 nd longest reigning monarch in British history • The Queen is the Head of the Commonwealth of Nations – 54 member states – promotion of democracy, human rights, free trade, world peace etc.
