Modern Concept – carefree & functional. Uses materials like glass, metal, chrome and composites. The shapes tend to be very angular, less carving, decoration, or complex details. Surfaces are typically very smooth and flow in an even line from one end of the piece to the other. 3. English Concept – requires a darker colour scheme for the floors, while walls will make use of patterns particularly floral patterns, which are used on drapes, cushions and table coverings.
