R1 SIT Update
R1 System Integration Testing (SIT) – Status Overview

Testing is on track
First iteration of templates were uploaded on July 8
Template feedback has been disseminated
Second iteration of templates are due July 23
R1 SIT – Key Feedback to Carriers
– Update effective dates in Rate Templates from 2014 to 2015
– Missing Plan Expiration Date in the Plan & Benefits Template. The plan
expiration date should be set to 12/31/2015 for each plan
– In the Rate Data Template, the tobacco indicator must be set to “No
Preference”

R1 UAT Update
Plan Management Internal portal UAT will be performed from
08/08/14 to 09/08/14
From 08/08/14 through 08/22/2014 State plans to perform UAT
testing using Test Data
– Starting 08/25/14, UAT is planned to be performed using the SERFF
templates.
On 08/28/2014, the State plans to download the uploaded Plan &
Benefits data from the UAT environment in an Excel template and
send it to Carriers for review
– State will expect feedback from Carriers by COB 09/04/14

R2 UAT Update
Eligibility & Enrollment UAT is scheduled to be performed from
09/15/14 to 10/31/14
– During the last 2 weeks of UAT (10/20/14 – 10/31/14) State plans to
perform regression testing
State plans to have UAT participants from MHBE, DHR, DHMH,
Local Health Departments, Local Social Service Offices, Navigator
Entities, Call Center, Broker Community and Carriers
– UAT is planned to be performed by Carriers from 10/13/14 to 10/17/14.
State is planning to request 3-5 testers per carrier
State is looking into the option to provide VPN access to Carriers to
perform additional UAT prior to on-site UAT
