The London market in July 2009
• Like Christopher Columbus we had got somewhere and it
seemed quite nice
• But we had no idea where it was or where we should go next

Why?
LMG Forum 2011
• All four constituents like each other more than they did
• We continue to grow up in our attitude to projects
• We have had a period of consensus
But…
LMG Forum 2011
We must resist the temptation to go off on
our own
But…
LMG Forum 2011
We must retain our ambition
LMG Forum 2011
But…
Although more mature, are we much past
adolescence?
LMG Forum 2011
But…
We still do not measure enough – this
makes it hard to drive our programme
And..
LMG Forum 2011
• Will the irresistible march of technology make some of our
sacred cows redundant – can automation replace central
service?
• Do we understand/think enough of the aspects of human
behaviour that make front office technology difficult?
And..
• Will the new entrants be corrupted by the old guard or can
LMG Forum 2011
they bring change?
LMG Forum 2011
Its over to you…
