Planners of the Institute are asking for districts to help us in “Celebrating Achievements”. We would like districts to share what is going well for them with other local districts. Student Opportunities • K’Nex Design Challenge– We have 11 teams registered– 10 from Clearfield County! There is no cost, except the cost of the kit. Challenge date is set for April 9, 2015. LHUCC has offered to host the event at their campus. • Elementary Reading Competition – Saturday, March 21, 2015. The deadline to have the forms to Deb Wakefield is February 27, 2015. • Computer Fair - There are currently only 7 entries with Bald Eagle and CPI participating. Please encourage students to participate. The next computer fair meeting is being held on January 23rd, 2015. The scheduled competition date is March 5th, 2015 with a makeup date of March 12th, 2015. Student Opportunities • CIU #10 Summer STEM Camp for Clearfield County students in grades 5-8 in partnership with Clearfield Area School District and Lock Haven University Clearfield Campus.
