Why do you need a Business Continuity Plan?

Having a BCP in place before a business interruption is critical; otherwise, you may not be able to respond quickly enough to prevent service interruption.

What is the BCP Tool?

• An easy and efficient web-based method to create a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) • Accessible using UGA MyID to log in to a secure link to create their BCP • BCP team members are able to enter and exit each section online to view/edit/complete their BCP • The system will automatically create an annual email reminder to BCP team members connected with the department that it is time to update their BCP

Communication and IT services and individuals 5. Vital records and individuals 6. Departmental Emergency Preparedness educational efforts 7. Departmental Pandemic plans 8.
