operate and maintain 24 hydrometeorological stations and 1,178 automatic
rain gauge stations by the telemetering system

To prepare flood forecasting and warning
 To analyze the hydrometeorological data of
the hydrometeorological and rain gauge
stations nation wide, including the Bangkok
Metropolis and its vicinity
