Closing Thoughts…
 BRAC ’05 will see a net gain of ~4500 permanent party military and DA
Civilians at Ft Knox with a positive economic impact on the region.
 The Great Inhale has begun (before we exhale)……..
 3-1 IBCT has arrived, is established and growing……
 Between Aug 2009 and Oct 2011 more than 1,400 people will be hired
to fill HRCoE DAC vacancies…many from outside the system, and
even more contractors
 Human Resources Command advanced party has moved into its facility
in E-town and has started hiring
 BRAC is On Track at Ft Knox – “Brick and Mortar”
 USAARMC is preparing to move to Ft Benning in late FY10 and FY11
 Yes……..it is really happening!
