History:
- Koblenz: Teacher education since 1794
- in Rheinland-Pfalz:
- Colleges of Education established after WW II
- Merging / consolidation process of Colleges of
Education starting in 1969
- Merger of the remaining two sites (Koblenz
and Landau) in 1990
