Case Study – Lewis University

The university needed a reliable indoor and outdoor wireless access
network, but the existing solution experienced problems that left students
unable to complete online tests and access course materials when and
where they needed.

Motorola partner Scientel used LANPlanner and BroadbandPlanner to
redesign the indoor/outdoor network. They were also used to deploy and
verify the network after installation.

Lewis university now has a cutting edge Motorola wireless indoor/

Hollywood, Florida

The city of Hollywood, Florida wanted to provide public WiFi access to its
community as well as better protect its citizens. Initially, a network was
deployed in Tamiami Park, but they wanted to extend it throughout the
city.

The city installed MWAN 4300 series access points along with Point-toMultipoint and Point-to-Point equipment for a citywide wireless
broadband network that has been utilized by multiple city departments,
residents and for public safety.

The city of Hollywood, FL developed a technology strategy, which
