Create extra port stacking capacities ;
Improve the management of container through the
introduction of I.T. in all terminals and training of
staff and labour;
Purchase of appropriate handling equipment
Reduce the allowed free time of container in the
ports
Involve private sector in port commercial activities

Increase storage capacity;
Install specialised handling equipment (especially
container gantry cranes);
Providing extra quay length for vessel berths;
Operational issues;
Delocating the port and putting in place specialised
terminals
