UNDERGRADUATE
Two options:
• Erasmus (tuition fees and grant for
living costs)
• The Students Awards Agency for
Scotland (SAAS) (tuition fees only)
SAAS FUNDING FOR
UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
• At undergraduate level, the number of
SAAS funded places is not limited – as
EU students, you will be eligible as long
as you plan to graduate from UWS, i.e.
at the end of year 3 or 4.
Apply to the University/UCAS
You must receive an ‘Unconditional Offer’ for
entry to an undergraduate degree programme
Once you have received your Unconditional
Offer letter, you MUST complete the
appropriate form on the SAAS website
You will be sent a SAAS Award letter,
bring this with you to enrolment.
POSTGRADUATE FUNDING
• A limited number of SAAS funded
postgraduate places are available every
year. Please apply early.
In the funding section of the application form,
You MUST write that you wish to
be considered for SAAS funding
If you are allocated a funded place, the School
will notify you in May/June 2009
If you are notified that you have a
funded place, you MUST complete the
appropriate form on the SAAS website
You will be sent a SAAS Award letter,
bring this with you to enrolment.
Application Processes
• There are slightly different application processes depending on whether
you will be an Erasmus student, a SAAS funded student or a postgraduate
student
• Your International Office can advise and assist you or you can contact
UWS for guidance
• Key things to remember after you have applied:
• You need an UNCONDITIONAL offer before you can come to the
University or reserve a room in accommodation
• Once you know your end of year results from your University in
Poland, you need to submit these to us straightaway to enable us to
convert your offer to unconditional and to secure your accommodation
• Your International Office can confirm your results to us by e-mail so
please notify them as soon as your results are known
