Profile

The Department of Physics at NITC is emerging as a major centre for teaching and research both in applied physics and technology. The department is offering a B.Tech course in Engineering Physics and a Masters course in Photonics (M.Sc.Tech). PhD programmes are also offered in a variety of cutting edge technology and multi disciplinary thrust areas. The department has acquired the distinction of having state of the art facilities in Research and Development with faculty attracting impressive external funding and publishing papers in reputed peer-reviewed journals.
